Processes and Problems Related to International Students Evaluated

A meeting was held between the Directorate of the International Relations and International Student Coordination Application and Research Center and the Kütahya Provincial Directorate of Migration Management to evaluate processes related to international students. The meeting addressed the residence permit applications and document collection processes for international students, as well as general problems faced by students. In this context, ideas were exchanged on how these problems could be resolved within the framework of the protocol signed between the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) and the General Directorate of Migration Management.
The meeting also identified areas of joint work to increase information activities for students, facilitate application processes, strengthen inter-institutional coordination, and address shortcomings encountered in practice. At the end of the meeting, it was agreed to continue cooperation to support the educational processes of international students and minimize the problems they face.
We thank all stakeholders who contributed to the meeting.
